Are you certified by the EPA in accordance with the new lead abatement laws?

As of April 22, 2010, all remodeling contractors must be certified in the proper abatement of lead paint. Rest assured, Encompass has always handled the disturbance of lead paint properly. We are certified, trained and ready for this new law.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, Encompass holds a Virginia Class A Contractors license and both General Liability and Worker’s Compensation insurance.

Do you provide both Design and Building services?

Yes, we offer comprehensive design services including layout, product and fixture selection, as well as paint colors. We show you designs in 3-D to help you visualize your new space. Our VP of Design is a certified kitchen and bath designer and a member of the American Society of Interior Designers.

We have an in-house production team that works closely with the design department to determine the accurate cost of your project before you sign your construction contract. Often when a design is created by an architect or independent designer, the actual cost to build is much higher than the estimated cost.

And since our production team is involved with your design from the start, there are no questions when construction starts. This means construction proceeds quickly without delay.

Are you Green Builders?

Yes! Encompass is trained to lead you through the “green maze” of products so you can make informed selections that make you feel good about being green while staying within your budget.

Encompass reuses all possible materials in our remodeling projects. All construction waste that can’t be saved or repurposed is recycled. Encompass also manages all job sites carefully to minimize storm water runoff. At Encompass, we believe that the ultimate green home is one that rarely, if ever, needs additional renovations.
